We currently have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us as Chair of our volunteer Board of Trustees. Our current Chair of Trustees is coming to the the end of his term with us, therefore we are now recruiting for his replacement. We are looking for someone to enhance and build upon the success of our Social Enterprise over the past 12 years.

Location:     Bramley Baths, Leeds 

Type:           Voluntary Position  (unpaid reasonable travel expenses reimbursed)

The Role

As Chair, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our Board of Trustees and supporting the CEO. We are seeking an exemplary leader who embodies collaboration, community focus, and the energy to inspire our dedicated team. Key responsibilities include:

·       Leading Board meetings and ensuring effective governance.

·       Collaborating with trustees & senior team to set strategic direction and goals.

·       Supporting and challenging the CEO to enhance organisational performance.

·       Engaging with the community and stakeholders to promote Bramley Baths.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role, you should:

·       Have a proven record of accomplishment in leadership roles.

·       Be committed to fostering a passionate, personable, and approachable leadership style.

·       Possess the ability to think creatively and strategically.

·       Ideally, have experience in the charity or social enterprise sector.

·       Have strong local and regional networks to help promote our organisation.
